I think Congress wouldn't always acted honorably because some of their decisions are all based on the societies point of view. Even though the Bill of Rights stated that all men are equally created, they should have a way of telling in which there are a variety or amount of spots that can be replaced by another immigrant in case someone else is gone.

DeleteThe Congress passed the restriction acts because they thought the immigrants would bring damaging and harmful ideas. i think congress was wrong because people have right to live here and they wont try to ruin it for themselves by bring harmful ideas. congress cant just kick them out and if they wanna they should check people's criminal records and if they have any diseases that can affect others. also the laws they make gives them chills so they wont try to do something bad.
ReplyDeletei dont think congress acted honorably against the chinese immagration because they did nothing wrong like if they banned germans and japanese in WW2 that would make sense because they were enemies to the united states of america. Also america wants to be the best country and safest, so there should be some restrictions, like criminals and the insane because they are mentally unstable and could be dangerous to civilians, and also people with diseases should be kept out because this can kill many people.

I think people who want to live here from other countries should be allowed to this is because they also want a chance at having better life. ReplyDeleteI think that the only thing that can be considered good is the restriction of criminals. The reason why I think this is because such criminals would hurt people in some sort of way. However, it wasn't an honorable thing of Congress to do to ban Chinese people, people from certain regions, limit people coming from Europe, and certain classes of people. It was wrong of them to do so. Banning the Chinese was racist, and that as well as everything else, excluding criminals, was an unjust decision. A criminal is something no one wants around them because criminals can damage anything they'd like to, for example, your bank account, your home, and even you. But, every other kind of person was simply unfair to them.

I think any one can live in United State because it a free country and any on can find a job their, that why they came.

Everyone would have to look for ajob and the chances of people getting homeless is possiable. Also they passed these laws becasue in order to check dseases and other sickness. If they didnt do this then it will lead a problem. People would spread disases and sickness all over.

Another reason is that they might bring war with them or that they are criminals or outlaw who escaped from jail. they probably think the population will over grow if they let Chinese immigrants the population might grow because china is a humongous country. i think the people who wants to live here should live here. that is because they are probably poor and trying to help their family and they want their kids to have a better education.Congress dont always act honorably because they just think about themselves and not thinking how other countries are suffering. If there was to be restrictions it should say something that keeps away danger but welcome the poor and people who needs a better opportunity.
