For being such a fortunate man, he should show that he actually cares about the progression and well being of the town if he actually would've shared his wealth to foundations that could possibly benefit the corporation he owns and those who need the money they lack despite the fact that the towns people work for him. The business leader could expand the companies into different countries as little industries and hired, especially foreign immigrants, people to work in these small industries, and set up the weekly allowance to both receive and pay the money to/from the employees. And the business leader could make people relaxed for a minimum amount of times, then back to the work as they felt a bit energetic. There are many ways that the business leader could have helped the town more. To begin with, like the paragraph said, he was wealthy and lived in a mansion so instead of keeping all the money to himself, he could have donated it to some good cause such as charity, community organizations,etc. He also had a lot of employees working for him and he kept getting more and more money so at the very least, he could have just raised the employees' wage and help their families a little. Like the paragraph said he wasn't very generous so if he contributed a little more to the town, more people's lives could have been better and happier. So if I had to give him advice, I would advise him to pay more attention to what problems his town is going through and help them out whether that would be donating money or meeting up with other town leaders and make some important decisions that can help the town grow even a little. Yeah, he does pay us well, however, our payment for the whole entire town of hundreds of employees is only about 10 percent of all the money that comes;while he gets to keep the other 90 percent for himself. So here is our proposition:we would like an extra 5 percent payment. So out of all the money that comes to you, we now want a 15 percent payment for the whole town instead of 10. ReplyDeleteI automatically disagree with the town leaders because, i can make an educated guess that this corporation is the reason this village had become a town, the business leader raised the employment rate in this town and paid fair wages to his employees and i assume he is also the reason that this town is well known to other people, making it a prime trade point for the product being produced by the corporation. The business person should contribute to the town by helping the poor people in the neighborhoods. He could also donate some of his money to charities to help a good cause. For example, he could buy food, water, clothing, a temporary shelter, and some money for them to start their new life. The business owner can also help out the town organization by donating money. The town organization would use the money to make the town a better place. For example, they can expand the town, hire people for better sanitation, etc. Overall, if the business owner would donate, he would be helpful to the town.

He could help the areas that need help, for example if there is a problem like leaking pipes, he could help them fix the pipes. He could build orphanages. He could listen to the people and hear their problems, and then help out their problems because if he lives in a mansion on a hill he probably doesn't know about the problems going on. If he sees that his workers pay checks are not enough he could give them a raise so then they can take care of their families.

ReplyDeleteI think that the business owner can help the town by helping everyone out equally. For example, when there's a problem going around in town he should try his best to solve it. He should give some of his money to different charities, and do his best to be there whenever he is needed. Also, he has people working for him, he should at least have the decency to pay them with the price they truly deserve, and see how hard they work, and their struggles.
